SAVE THE DATE FOR THE 2018 PUT HUNGER IN PARK FOOD FEST!

Meals on Wheels invites you to Put Hunger in Park on Thursday, September 13, 2018. The fundraiser will be held at Hoover Park in North Canton from 5PM-9PM. Put Hunger in Park will include live entertainment, activities for all ages, beer and food trucks and, most importantly, plenty of Meals on Wheels.

This fundraiser is open to the public and admission is FREE!

Food Trucks are ready, with delicious items from Barrio Tacos, Manna Food Truck, Woody's BBQ, The Slop Truck, The Beach Bum Truck, and Peace, Love and Little Donuts of Canal Fulton – complete with Esber Beverage and Royal Docks Brewing Co. drinks! Activities for all ages are lined up, with inflatables from Fun Services, hot air balloon rides from Finney's Institutional Pharmacy, a Chip Richter Music kids’ concert, and live broadcast entertainment from Q92 and Nikolina DjDiva! Plus fun raffle prizes – including a one-week trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on sale online NOW! ALL WE NEED IS YOU! Save the date, and plan to join us for a food fest to benefit Meals On Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties! There is still time to support the fundraiser – but hurry! Meals on Wheels’ mission is to provide nutrition for better health, happiness, and independence by serving 1,500 meals a day to individuals in need in Stark and Wayne Counties. This fundraiser is a perfect fit with our mission as it focuses on the positive impact good food and great people can make on our community. PUT HUNGER IN PARK 2017

After five successful years of Meals on Wheels’ annual Main Event Auction, the agencychanged direction and hosted its first ever food fest. “Put Hunger in Park” was at Hoover Park in North Canton from 5pm-10pm on Thursday, September 21, 2017. The event included live entertainment, contests, prizes, beer and food trucks and – most importantly – plenty of Meals on Wheels.
