Program & Funding Options

Our Social Services staff assists all clients with their individual needs based on a personal interview and assessment. For more information or to sign up, please fill out our referral form or call our social services department at (330) 832-7220. Here are available funding options:

Title IIIc:

Funds are provided through the Older Americans Act and Direction Home. Qualifying individuals must be at least 60 years of age and meet specific guidelines measured by an assessment by the Social Services Department of Meals on Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties. 

Care Coordination:

These clients are assigned by Direction Home.


These clients are assigned by Direction Home. The program is Medicaid funded.


These clients are assigned by Direction Home, CareSource Ohio and United Healthcare. This is for those dual eligible for Medicare/Medicaid.


A Medicaid program used to fund meals for clients under the age of 60. Referrals are generally made through the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services.

Food stamps and the Ohio Directions Card are welcome, and gift certificates are available any time of the year.
