Welcome to Meals on Wheels of Stark & Wayne
Counties
For almost 35 years, Meals On Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties has been
serving homebound and nutritionally at risk individuals across the two-county
area. Since the inception of the agency, more than 9 million meals have been
served to individuals throughout our community and that service continues
daily, Monday through Friday, as more than 2,000 meals are served up.
Our service provides much more than a hot meal. Our volunteers
are often a homebound client’s only daily contact, so we make sure any concerns
are immediately brought to the attention of the closest family member or
emergency contact. Lives have been saved because of the quick response of
dedicated volunteers and staff. We offer peace of mind, as well as nutritional
support.
Service is available to ANY homebound individual, regardless of age. Depending
upon eligibility, reduced costs are available. New clients can be processed
within two
working days.
